Our venues are all in Dublin city centre. Unite, Wigwam and The Grand Social are all a short distance from each other, while the Light House is around 20 mins walking/rolling distance away, or accessible by Luas.

We are working to have captions or subtitles on as many of our films as possible (please see film list above for updated info). Speakers at our panels, Stripper Bingo, and the afterparty will use microphones. We are seeking an ISL interpreter for our panel on Sunday, Oct. 22nd, from 5-6pm, and will confirm that here.

We apologise that we are not able to provide audio descriptions for our films.

​

Due to concerns around protecting the privacy of attendees, we will not livestream this year or hold events online aside from Friday's writing workshop. Please email us with any questions.

BY VENUE

Light House

• Masks are not required to enter the Light House. The theatre has a vent that will be on and that refreshes air within the cinema with air from outside. We will have free masks available.

• Our screening will be in Theatre Three, on the second floor down, which is accessible by lift. There are three spaces for wheelchairs at the front of the theatre.

• There is an accessible toilet on the same floor, with a code to enter. Light House staff and Red Umbrella volunteers will know this code.

• The accessible toilet on the second floor is gender neutral, and on the top floor (where you enter the cinema) there is an additional gender neutral bathroom with three stalls, one of which is wheelchair accessible.

 

Unite

• All events at Unite will require masks, and we will have free masks available. The building has a high quality air filtration system.

• Events will take place on the ground floor (no steps), with a ramp leading to the space.

• There is a wheelchair accessible toilet on the same floor as the event space.

• Toilets will be marked as single stall and urinal.

Wigwam

• Masks are not required to enter Wigwam. We will have free masks available during our events.

• Our screenings and events will take place in the basement, which is not wheelchair accessible. There are two stairways down to the basement: one has one flight of steps and is steep, the other has two flights of steps.

• There is no accessible toilet in the basement.

• Toilets will be marked as single stall and urinal.

Grand Social

• Masks are not required to enter the Grand Social. We will have free masks available during our event.

• Our party will take place on the entry level floor. There are three steps leading down to the event space.

• There is an accessible toilet on the entry level floor (three steps up from the event space).

• Toilets in the event space will be marked as single stall and urinal.

• We’re working to have a quieter space within the event, and will post signage if so.
